A single mezuzah, or a small Hebrew calligraphy of a verse you have been carrying for a long time, written by hand on parchment. The patron's name and the date of writing are recorded in the workshop ledger.
One a year
Begin this subscriptionA ketubah each season, or, by the patron's election, a quarterly illuminated Hebrew calligraphy commission of a verse, a psalm, or a passage of the parshah. Each piece on parchment, in any of the workshop's hands.
Four a year
Begin this subscriptionA Sefer-Torah-grade text each month, in the parshah portion of the patron's choice, written under the standards of the certifying tradition. The cadence is suited to a household assembling a complete scroll over the years, or to a study hall building a working library.
Twelve a year
Begin this subscriptionA piece each fortnight, master-level work: full ketubot, sets of mezuzot for whole households, illuminated psalters, and large-format Hebrew calligraphy of long passages. Each commission numbered in the workshop ledger.
Twenty-six a year
Begin this subscriptionA piece each week, signed work from the head of the atelier, with the year's cadence ordered around the completion of a Sefer Torah and any major commission the patron has agreed in writing. Reserved for congregations, study halls, and patrons of long standing.
Fifty-two a year
Begin this subscriptionPricing depends on the size of the parchment, the complexity of the script, the gilding and inscription work, never on hours. The atelier prefers correspondence by post; an inquiry by the form on the contact page is also acceptable. Subscriptions may be paused for a season without forfeit.
The atelier also accepts iconography commissions from the parish communities of the Old City. Panel size, the canon followed, gilding, and the inscription on the reverse are agreed in correspondence. These commissions are quoted individually and are not part of the subscription cadences above; please write to the atelier by post or by the form on the contact page.
A short blessing is sent each Sunday by electronic mail, free of charge, to anyone who asks for it. The list is small and is kept by the workshop. Unsubscribe at any time by the link at the foot of every message.
